Third Relief 2.0 Mission to Ishinomaki - initial call

Streets of Ishinomaki

We are going back to Ishinomaki from Friday June 24 to Sunday June 26. The main goals of this mission are:

  1. To bring enabling resources collected by the British Chamber of Commerce for the small businesses affected by the tsunami.
  2. To update our collected info on the needs and profiles of the businesses in the area.
  3. To interview young females and women entrepreneurs in order to support future programs for promoting and supporting female entrepreneurs in the region.

Key Mission members:

  • British Chamber of Commerce logoMs. Lori Henderson, Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan is joining us to personally deliver the resources and make a field assessment as well.
  • Kyoko Tanaka, a seasoned volunteer who has done several trips and a number of interviews in Iwate will be documenting the trip.
  • Masaharu Otsubo, Relief 2.0 local coordinator in Japan is coordinating the mission.
