Fukuoka Day 4:

Social Business Forum Asia 2012 (Day 1)

This social business forum starts off with a networking dinner with Prof Yunus.

Prof Yunus shared his thoughts about the impotance of social business in Fukuoka, and the mayor of Fukuoka came and gave a speech.

I was amazed by the pretty location overlooking the river and the sea. This event was held at Hilton in Fukuoka and the location was beautiful.

However, one thing caught my attention was the large Malaysia delegates that came to the event.

There were 24 of them, and most of them dressed in their traditional clothings.

The event started, and everyone started to mingle. Although there was distinct groups in the event, Japanese-speaking and non-Japanese speaking groups, overall, the event went well, and I was able to talk to many social entrepreneurs and interesting people running social projects wishing to learn more from Prof Yunus.
